  • California Senate Bill
  • 2019-2020 Regular Session
  • Introduced in Senate Feb 22, 2019
  • Senate
  • Assembly
  • Governor

Fish and Game Commission.

Abstract

The California Constitution establishes the 5-member Fish and Game Commission, with members appointed by the Governor and approved by the Senate. Existing statutory law states the intent of the Legislature to encourage the Governor and the Senate Committee on Rules to consider certain minimum qualifications in selecting, appointing, and confirming commissioners to serve on the commission. This bill would make a nonsubstantive change to this provision.
