Charitible Gaming Constitutional Amendment

Abstract

The concurrent resolution amends section 2 of article XVIII of the Colorado constitution by: Lowering the 5-year continuous existence requirement to obtain a charitable gaming license to 3 years until January 1, 2025; Repealing Allowing the general assembly to set the 5-year continuous existence requirement to obtain a charitable gaming license on January 1, 2025 ; and Authorizing a manager or operator of a charitable game to make minimum wage until July 1, 2024, when the provision repeals the prohibition on paying managers or operators.
