Health care providers; transfer of patient recordsin conjunction with closure, sale, or relocation of practice; electronicnotice permitted. Allows health care providers to notify patientseither electronically or by mail prior to the transfer of patientrecords in conjunction with the closure, sale, or relocation of thehealth care provider's practice. Current law requires health careproviders to provide such notice by mail.
